Students in the UK can return to campus as part of Roadmap steps

As a measure to progress towards Step 3 of the government's roadmap which includes an easing of restrictions on indoor and social contact, students will now be allowed to return to in-person classes alongside the launch of the new employment and skills guide. Currently, students who are working on practical courses including science and engineering are already back on campus owing to the need for specialist facilities and equipment. All returning students are encouraged to take a test at least a day before they arrive at their accommodation.
After arrival to the campus, both staff and students will be required to take 3 supervised lateral flow devices (LFD) tests 3-4 days apart and get tested twice a week for the rest of the summer term. This will be organized at the on-campus asymptomatic testing site and these tests will be free of costs for the students.
The Graduate Employment and Skills Guide is a five-step plan brought into effect to assist the students who graduated during the pandemic and help them consider their post-university plans, hone essential skills, and further their career path.
Currently, the UK is effectively working towards tackling the pandemic to make the nation Covid-free again, proven by how they are reopening the schools and allowing students to go back! This comes as positive news to all international students planning to move to the UK for their higher education.
